Objectives

Individual Learning Session: Leaving Care Legislation

At the end of this session you will:

  • have a better understanding and awareness of the law relating to young people leaving care
  • have developed an understanding of your own duties and responsibilities in relation to working with children in relation to preparing them before they leave the care system
  • have a understanding about the 'rights' of young people leaving care and children within the care system

    • 5.5 Transitions (Transitions are stages in children's lives - some are general, some are individual):
